1980’s was a decade of several milestones. Skaala concentrated now mainly in window production and designed a new window collection together with other smaller manufacturers in business. For that purpose together with a growing share of the market Skaala built a new production plant and invested in integrated tailor-made window production line as the first producer in Finland. Manufacturing process was computerized and Skaala established its own insulating glass production.
